Welcome! My name is Kayla and I'm the owner and operator of Kayla's Dandy Lions, an ARBA registered Lionhead rabbitry conveniently located in Rockledge, Florida. My goal is to breed outstanding Lionheads as close to breed stardard as possible and rabbits who maintain an exceptional mane and skirt into adulthood.
Although most Lionheads I breed are Show Quality, I am always happy to place them in a loving pet home. Encouraging spaying and neutering for pet bunnies.

Kayla's Dandy Lions currently consists of a herd of 8 Lionhead rabbits, all of which are kept indoors in a well-kept "Rabbit Room". The rabbits in my herd are all treated with love and considered my babies. I do my best to keep them happy, comfortable and healthy. Cages are cleaned daily along with food bowls and water bottles in order to provide a clean environment for them. They are exercised, played with, groomed daily and fed a selective diet of nutritious rabbit pellets and Timothy Hay. They also receive fresh vegetables and fruit on a regular basis such as parsely (their all time favorite!), basil, apples, occasionally carrots and many more.
My Lionheads have very nice pedigrees which include some of the best Lionhead rabbitries in the world--Cimmaron, Bastets, D&DL, Might Roar, Peace Lane, Parris and Wetzel to name just a few. In the very near future, I plan on adding to my herd a Blue Point Buck from D&DL.
Since my rabbitry is small, I'm able to devote quality time to each individual rabbit--both to those in my herd, and to the kits my rabbits produce. This means that the Lionheads you purchase from Kayla's Dandy Lions are gentle, child-friendly and very comfortable with human interaction.

First of all, I'd like to thank my wonderful mother for being my greatest encourager, my most constant helper and above all, a loving mom. I'll never be able to thank her enough for all her support and help in making my dreams come true.
Next, I would like to thank my awesome dad for putting up with my dreams and lending me a hand when I need help building nest boxes, cages or even paying the bills. I know this dream of mine is definitely not his, but I will always thank him for his tolerance that's put to test each and every day for the sake of my happiness.
